I have been coming here for about 4 years now and I absolutely love it! The staff is friendly and helpful and the teachers are knowledgeable and patient. The teachers also make learning how to play an instrument fun by encouraging students to choose a song they want to learn (you don't know how many times the teachers have to teach kids Let It Go, but the teachers are good sports about it and never complain). 

The recitals are fun and a great way to help kids (and adult musicians) get over their stage fright. The recitals also allow students to show off what they have learned in front of their friends and family and have fun doing it!

All in all, Bay Area Academy of Music is a fun and friendly place for children (and adults!) to learn music.

My 2 kids have been going to Bay Area Academy of Music for almost 2yrs now & I wanted to share how happy I have been with our lessons. My son has been taking guitar lessons with Sean & I really could not be happier. Sean is a very patient & easy going guy who makes learning fun for my son. I am a laid back mom when it comes to music, just want it to be fun so this works perfectly for me. My son has done amazing in my opinion & I attribute it almost entirely to Sean's teaching! My daughter has taken piano lessons with 3 teachers and altho my favorite teacher is no longer working there I have been extremely happy with how much she has learned.

I am very glad we picked this company  for our music lessons...great staff plus the convenience of being able to do my grocery shopping during lessons is a big plus.

Thank you Bill and thank you Bay Area Academy of Music for helping me learn Djembe. Even though Djembe is not main stream and not taught regularly, Bill took me as his student and helped me learn it. I guess I was the first Djembe student at Bay Area Academy of Music :)
Classes always started on time and Bill always found more time for me beyond the class (since I was his last class). I really appreciate him going extra mile, being patient and teaching me fundamentals.​

Good customer service - staffs are very friendly and responsive to questions and scheduling. They also are very responsible about making sure that the instructors are on time for classes. Great instructor - both Brendan and Bill are great drum instructors. They are patience and make it fun for my son to take their drum lessons. Good facility.
