Our drum teachers teach rock, metal, jazz, funk, blues and many other styles. Drum language can be complex and our instructors will challenge any drummer with a wide variety of technical exercises designed to improve your speed and comfort. All drummers can bring in their favorite drum parts to learn in their lessons and theory is encouraged. You do not have to purchase a drum kit to take lessons. Beginning students can practice at home with a drum pad and sticks before purchasing or renting a drum kit. Students use our drum set at their lessons and do not have to bring anything except their drum sticks and notebook. Our drum teachers have friendly personalities and love working with children, teens and adults!
​Our drum students typically start at age 8 as they need to be able reach both the pedal and the cymbals. We recommend that younger students come in for an evaluation to see if they are big enough to get started. Our drum teachers have university or college training and are active performers.

Our drum lessons are all private one-on-one instruction and are offered in 30 minute and 1 hour lengths. Private lessons ensure that the student has the undivided attention of the teacher and can progress at a level suited to them, individually, to complete their musical achievements.
