Dave Anderssen has over thirty years of experience performing, playing and studying guitar (electric, acoustic and bass). His students have ranged in age from 8 through adult. He has had the privilege of sharing the stage with members of Tower of Power, Eddie Money, Hot Tuna and Alice Cooper.
Dave Anderssen has performed at clubs and music festivals throughout the region, and his original music has been in rotation on FM radio, and licensed to TV. In addition to teaching Rock, Pop, Punk, Blues, and Acoustic rhythm and lead guitar methods, Dave also includes Singer-Songwriter approaches within his repertoire.
Dave Anderssen also teaches Jazz, Advanced Rock Discipline, neo-classical Metal, as well as music theory and reading. Dave has practical experience producing, recording, and mastering music in a professional studio setting. A De La Salle High School and UC Berkeley graduate, he has studied at the Jazz School in Berkeley.
