Our flute and piccolo lessons generally start at age 9 and older. As with all our instruments, our flute and piccolo instructors have university or college degrees in woodwinds. Our flute lessons are available to students at all levels from beginners to more advanced. Piccolo students must have prior flute experience or, must start with flute lessons before taking piccolo lessons. Our flute and piccolo students have the option to perform in our Winter and Spring concerts and other recitals.
Our private, one-on-one flute lessons and piccolo lessons are offered in 30 minute, 45 minute or 1 hour lengths.
Our small group flute lessons are designed for students who are motivated by, or just enjoy working as part of a team. The social interaction helps these students stay motivated and challenged in a supportive, friendly environment. Each class is a 30 minute session and limited to just 2 students per class. Students will either progress into the next group level or into private lessons. These classes are designed for beginner level students. Our small group flute lessons are offered for beginner's ages 9-12, and ages 13 and up.
